The Design Center is where you build (or upload) your own RaiderX yard sign, rider or business card. A design made from a RaiderX template, with only your own information filled in and nothing else changed, is pre-approved — download it right away (P&P § 3.5.1.1). Change the layout, colors or brand elements in any way, or upload a finished design, and it needs the broker’s written approval before you use it, same as before (P&P § 3.5.1).
Design Center → New design (Sign Library → My designs also links straight in). Pick what you’re making — yard sign, rider or business card — then a format and a starter template, or start blank. Templates prefill from your real profile: name as licensed, phone, email, website, license number and your photo.
Change only your own info (name as licensed, phone, email, website, license, photo, QR link) and pick one of the template’s own light/dark variants — a green "Ready to download" badge means it still matches the template exactly, no review needed. On a sign or rider with a message, use the **Stock message** picker (tap the headline, then choose from the list) rather than retyping it — the picker resizes the message correctly for what you picked, so a plain text edit reads as a change even if you typed a real stock message. Every field is checked exactly against your real profile, not just against whatever you typed — retyping your own name/phone/email/license correctly is fine, but ad copy, someone else’s info, or a title other than the template’s own default (including "REALTOR®," since membership can’t be verified) makes it custom. A profile phone number that can’t print cleanly (an extension, too few/many digits) blocks download with a note to fix it in Settings — that’s not a custom design, there’s nothing on it to change. Move, resize, recolor or add/remove anything else (or start blank, or upload a finished PDF/PNG/JPG) also makes it a custom design — an amber badge shows what changed and offers Reset to template if you want to undo it (this keeps your current stock message, QR link and photo).
The checks panel flags anything that would block approval before you try — most importantly the RaiderX name being at least half the size of your largest contact text (22 TAC § 535.155). On a business card that’s checked across the whole card (front + back together), not each side alone. Click Submit for review when it’s clean — a design that matches its template exactly never shows a Submit button, since it doesn’t need one.
A ready-to-download template design — just tap Download, no waiting. A custom design downloads once the broker approves it (you’re notified either way, or sent back with a note); an approved design is locked — Duplicate it to make further changes. Choose PDF, PNG or JPEG; a sign or rider approval covers every stock size in that format. Print with your own vendor.
The stock card layouts put a small "RX" corner mark on the front and the full RaiderX wordmark on the back — that passes, because the check looks at the whole card. Remove the back wordmark, though, and it fails; the small corner mark alone never counts.
In a team or LLC, nobody but the designated broker presents as "Owner" or the like — the guidelines checklist flags this (P&P § 3.2(g)).
